Scribbles #7
I love sleeping.
No, it's not because I'm lazy or anything. I love sleeping 'cause there is something about waking up.
I think human brains are like Windows sometimes, everyday when you wake up, it's like a reboot and everything feels brand new.
And you know that brief 3 seconds when you first wake up, that you can't tell the reality from dream? Like you can't even tell if it's morning or evening? For that 3 brief seconds, you can't tell if your dream happened or not. You can't tell did you kiss your crush for real.
But what I love about sleeping most, is that I hope, by the slightest chance, when I open my eyes, I will find you lying beside me, your eyes piercing into my soul, and you would break into a smile,and say "good morning".

Scribbles #6
I don't know how you can break your heart when it is already shattered in million pieces.
I only know, that you can. Trust me. Been there, done that.
I also happened to know how to put it back together, finally.
Ask the same person who broke your heart. Remember the first time your eyes met and how that person's stare was so strong it melted your heart? Maybe you should sneak a peek at the all-powerful eyes again, to melt your heart all over again and mold it into a new one.
Though I'm quite sure the shape will not be the same. It will never be the same.
...and they live happily never after.
It ended.
Finally, it ended.
Spanning across 4 seemingly long and unbearable years, it ended.
I could use a glorious quote to describe it;
I could Google some meaningful pictures to use as metaphore;
I could write chapters and chapters of anecdotes;
I could rewind so many memories and reminiscent one by one;
But in the end,
what difference would it make?
Would it make me any happier?
Would it make me any sadder?
Would I be stronger?
Would I ever be the same again?
Sometimes you don't really need an explanation to logic what has happened, do you?
Sometimes you just can't reason with God, why it has to end like this?
Maybe because that's the way it is. And maybe there is nothing you can do about it.
Maybe the famous happy ending is not for everyone.
Maybe things end, just like that.
Just like that.
Scribbles #4
Crushes are like the mantel within Eyjafjallajokull. Just when you thought everything was calm and bland, the emotions deep inside you just erupted like an volcano. Hence, one must constantly suppresses such feelings. Failing to do so might result in casualty, just like a volcano eruption.
Scribbles #3
All the time we hear people talking about balancing.
Balancing your life between work and family, balancing your account, balancing your social life and work, et cetera. You don't want to fall, cause it hurts. Badly.
But I think sometimes we gotta lose balance a little bit. I mean, you would never know if there is anyone to catch you when you fall right?
Maybe this is what they mean when they say falling in love. You know, lose your balance a little bit.
Scribbles #2
I don't know about you, but I personally think that love and food have a lot of similarities as well as differences.
First off, they come with a price. It might be cheap, it might be expensive, but you might want to open your eyes and look for price tag carefully. If you can't afford it, just walk away. Don't pay for the price, or you will regret. Goods sold are not refundable, eh?
Of course, we all have our favorites. Be it 3-course meals, fast foods, home-mades, junk foods or even raw, we all have our own favorites. What suits you, might not suit others. Your favorite food might cause allergies to others. And just like relationship, what you perceive of others, does not mean that the same person will think of the same or have the same feeling about you either.
However, unlike food, you don't find love lurking around everywhere. Some lucky people could find love everywhere, while some probably would starve to death. And, of course, you can't get a shopping assistant to help you to get what you want.
Also, you can't share love like you share food. The thing is, remember, it's barely enough for two. It's not like Jesus handling out a piece of bread and it is miraculously enough for everyone. You keep it to yourself, and you don't share. Beware for the hunger-strickens, they might just do anything to grab that away from you.
But there is something you should know about food. They have expiry dates, you see.
When the food becomes rotten, the appropriate thing to do is to dispose it once and for all.
Though some might feel reluctant to do so, feeling that one should not waste the chance and take a risk.
The outcome of getting food poisoning, as I heard, it might just kill you.

Scribbles #1
when you are used to being alone for such a long time, would you still remember that, eventually, you are meant to be the perfect match for someone else?
Scribbles #0 - an introduction
OK before I start writing this, I need to explain about this new scribbles section.
So basically scribbles are stuffs that crossed my mind randomly, inspired by things that had happened onto me, or when I was reading/watching TV/doing anything else and I start imagining how would I feel if I were the person.
I just want to scribble down what and how I feel towards something, usually metaphorically comparing it to something else. Scribbles may or may not be fictitious, but they are completely 100% written by yours truly. I actually written few in my personal private blog, but then BenjaminButton urged me to put in more than book reviews, so, I hope it will be another attractions to our site and you will like what I wrote. Don't be too harsh, I'm not a pro. =]

HOW TO DITCH THE ORIENTAL MINDSET!
Behind every closed doors, lies the silent grief of a child. Who secretly yearns to be part of the Western culture, to be able to experience what science project is all about? what summer activities they can join during the break? Experiences gained outside the classroom that can never be taught in class.
Yes. behind each closed doors of oriental families, lies a hope. A dim spark of hope, that brings forth to a change.
Let me share with you a true Malaysian story.
I grew up with homework. Yes, if there's a thing/chore that I grew up with, is definitely homework. I don't even tidy my bed on a daily basis.
The moment i stepped into pre-school, i had to shoulder the responsibility to complete each homework given by the teacher and the consequences of not finishing the homework will result in severe punishment that one could hardly imagine.
And every time the thought of unfinished homework flashed across my mind, i'll get sweaty palms,feeling restless and resort to copying other's answers. The thing in mind was to get it done to avoid punishment.
How oriental culture teaches is basically the spoon-feeding method. Feed the students with knowledge, and expect them to produce back the same thing. So i hope you get the picture of it.
How this matter irked me, is the fact that we're not moving forward. We are just merely floating. For those who realized that floating will them nowhere, they are the ones who managed to grasp the concept of learning everything in the classroom does not make you the smartest of all.
Trivia which I came across from watching a tv show ; Who is the first American pilot who managed to travel faster than sound?
At this point, if you can answer (and you think is correct) Congratulations. You're out of this square box.
But if you can't answer this. I'l give you a second try ; Who is the first American president who got assassinated?
bye got too bored writing.
